Since the update to 7.0, each time I try to launch the curricular model Bug Hunt Camouflage model, I get an error message about an ‘unknown extension’ as shown in the screenshot. If I try the Guppy Spots Hubnet or the Robotic Factory model that also load images, I get the same error, so is this something to do with how image loading is being handled?
For reference, I’m running these models with Netlogo 7.0.1 (Mac silicon version), on an M1 Macbook Pro.
All of these models now import their images with the import-a extension. What you’re seeing is not a fatal error, but just informing you that you need to agree to install extra functionality in order to use these models. The solution here would typically be clicking “Yes” and installing the import-a extension through the Extension Manager. Have you tried that and run into difficulties?
Looking at the message here, I’m left feeling like we should probably reword this message to make it clearer that this isn’t an error so much as just letting you know that you need to agree to download an add-on of sorts.
Got it - thanks Jason. The message wasn’t clear to me, and I worry that it will be the same with students who are using these Curricular models in class, so a clarification might be helpful.
