Here is my NetLogo Website: 3D Science Learning & ABM
I would love to hear your comments and suggestions. Collaborations on model and science curriculum development are welcome! I am looking to use these models with more students and conduct educational studies.
It would be great to get these models on the new modeling commons once. It is currently in beta (https://beta.modelingcommons.org/) but will be officially released very soon. One of the features we’ve build is to make it easy to embed models from there on other sites.
Do you have curricular materials that accompany these models? The site says you do but I didn’t see them.
I used to put my models in the commons in the past and am glad to put them in the new commons when it is released.
I don’t have the completed curricular materials for each model yet, and I am putting the materials in the “teacher notes” on the individual model page, which you can access when clicking “run the model”. See an example at : Bark Beetle Epidemic Model - Teacher Notes I am looking for teachers and science education researchers who are interested in designing curricular materials with me.
Thank you Dr. Xiang for posting your models and curriculum.
I saw your presentation at the NetLogo conference on the disease monitoring model and exercise, and think our environmental engineering faculty might use it. I found the model on your site but not the teaching materials. Are they available?
