Option to skip startup

When using an example model for inspiration, it is inconvenient if it starts the HubNet console automatically.

If only, because the Windows firewall kicks in, and I need admin rights to continue.

The nicest solution would be if NetLogo asks confirmation for running startup automatically.
For a different reason, I have communicated something like this by e-mail to the NetLogo team before.

For the example models, an intermediate solution is adding a user-message at the start of procedure startup.
I include a modified version of Client Perspective Example HubNet.nlogox as an example.
Could you please include something like this in code examples, at least?

Client Perspective Example HubNet - modified.nlogox (37.4 KB)

Hi Mark,

I think this is a great idea for a preference, something like ā€œAsk for confirmation before running startup procedureā€. I also have found the automatic HubNet startup to be rather annoying sometimes, and users might want to read the code first before it runs.
