The NetLogo project announces an on-line short course presented in affiliation with Physalia Courses. The course will take place on-line from 27 October to 7 November. Registration is now open.
This 30-hour course introduces participants to the principles and practice of agent-based modelling. Through lectures, tutorials, and independent project work, attendees will learn how to design, implement, and evaluate their own ABMs using NetLogo. The course will be led by Volker Grimm and Steve Railsback, with Jacob Kelter, director of the NetLogo project. The instructors have led ~20 similar courses since 2005.
To allow international participation, the course will be on-line and conducted for 3 hours per day (morning in the US; afternoon in Europe), for 10 days.
