Starting with NetLogo 6.4 (if I remember correctly), BehaviorSpace’s run options dialog remembers which folders were last selected for the location of output files. That was a big improvement over previous versions, which used a default location of the NetLogo program file. However, I think it would be even better to use the location of the current NetLogo program file as the default output file location.
In analyzing or applying a model, it is very common to have separate copies of the model in different directories, with a separate simulation experiment in each folder. With the current default output file location, it is very easy to accidentally write the BehaviorSpace output for an experiment into the directory used for a previous experiment–which of course causes confusion that typically results in having to run two experiments over again.
This problem would not occur if BSpace by default wrote to the current directory.

I agree and I moved this to Feature Requests.

Hi @john-chen,
Is the new feature request list publicly accessible?
I was able to find the GitHub Issues page for NetLogo repository. Is it the correct place to report any bugs in the application?
On another note, is there a (public) repository for NetLogo documentation, dictionary and programming guide website where corrections for typos and enhancements can be submitted?

@nimeshneema The feature request category is publicly accessible here on the forum.
For bugs, you can report them either here on the forum in the Bug Reports category or GitHub. The devel team will see them in either place.
I don’t think we currently have a public repository for submitting corrections and enhancements to NetLogo documentation and guides, but I’ll double check. For now, feel free to share those on the forum (corrections in the Bug Reports category and enhancements in the Feature Request category)
